LOL that's a good one! Always had him down as a bit of a tosser but he seemed a genuinely nice guy when he did his pundits stint on the BBC.

Most footballers appear to be tossers don't they. I'm sure there are some decent people involved in football, somewhere.

That's true, have met a few in my time n some can be arses but there are exceptions, Solskjaer is a thoroughly nice chap! Shearer on the other hand is a wanker.

2-2 with Inter in the league, and Lee does me a huge favour by beating Empoli (thanks for that Lee). So 3 point lead going into the final game against Cagliari (NOT Lazio as previously advised) - between AC, Inter and Juve for the title then....

Good wins for me won the cup and youth cup and the league tom must love me this week. On top of muller last week. Got ozil tasci muller and neuer all reviewed for me. What a turn.
Oh and bought dani alves. Looking for one more addition before next season.

Terrible week for me. Lost my first league game this season to bottom of the league Liverpool handing the Premiership title to the robot-run Man City. Also lost the youth cup final to Man City. Still at I did a few transfers to try and keep me happy.

It would seem Geoff left City in extremely good shape and his unsurprisingly settled team went on a run of 12 games won and one game drawn (against me) in the last 13. Sadly some results didn't go my way despite my having the best of most if not all the games (not this week though) allowing City to come from behind to take the title. So congrats to Geoff and the AI manager Joe Mercer. Preparations for next season have already begun.

P.S. Thanks to Rich and Matt for posting details of the big transfers of the week. Would love to see more talk about these each week going forward. They don't seem to get much airtime on the newsletter these days so I guess the best place to mention/discuss them is here.

P.P.S. Interesting signings Phil - you appear to like small boys more than Mark these days!
